Hello there! 👋 I'm Éric, a fullstack developer with nearly 3 years of experience. My coding journey has taken me through diverse sectors, from the automobile to the banking industry.
Programming is definitely something I enjoyed. Believe it or not, a few years ago, I couldn't have imagined myself as a developer, but here I am 😅. It all started with a few lines of VBA to automate a process on an Excel sheet for a school project.
I realized "wow that's like magic and it can make me save a lot of time !"
And that what is programming for me. Programming is a tool to automate processes and empower individuals so that they can spend their time for things that truly matter ! And that's what I'm striving to achieve every day !
Right now, I'm working as a banking IT consultant in the Market Risk, I specialized in leveraging the power of in-memory aggregation frameworks, with a particular focus on Atoti.
Outside work, you'll find me immersed in personal IT projects during my free time. I believe in the power of continuous learning, and these projects serve as my creative playground. Additionally, I'm a sports enthusiast and a junior trader.
What I have done so far
Work Experience.
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams to architect a robust data model tailored for market risk reporting built in Python using Atoti framework.
- Developed and integrated Risk Measures specifically for commodity reporting, enhancing the application’s analytical capabilities, in Java and Python.
- Leading the migration of an Advanced Analytics software for the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) Standardised Approach, built using ActivePivot (Java), an in-memory aggregation and calculation framework.
- Conducting testing and validation of reported Risk Measures, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with the Database team and Business Analysts to define and implement new interfaces.
- Implemented ETL processes in Java and Python to meet Commerzbank’s requirements, ensuring efficient data handling.
